My mama is SO pawsome! She is smart, kind, loyal, funny, determined, generous, courageous, and loving - I could keep going forever! And, of course, she is the BEST mama any puppy could ever wish for. But Mama is definitely not good at two things. She will be the first to agree, and anyone who knows her really well knows this, too, so I have full pawmission to share this with you, especially since there is a huge twist to this story! Mama is not good at: 1. Cooking. 2. Anything related to technology. If you read my previous Dog Blog, you'll understand how little mama knows about the technology of Facebook and Instagram, let alone anything about websites or blogs. It's pawtiful, but she's always said that she did not need to know how these things worked because it was never something she needed to do... This was true until I decided to start Toffy's Dog Blog. When I announced Toffy's Dog Blog on Facebook less than 2 weeks ago, mama had just signed up for an account on Wix where my blog was going to be. It became very clear, very quickly, that she literally did not know how to do anything. She was even struggling to figure out how to use a template. Apparently, that confirms you really don't know anything. It's as pawtiful as me not understanding when I need to sit, or stay, or come. None of this would have been a problem or a reason to write this Dog Blog except that mama had promised that she was going to build the website for Toffy's Dog Blog on her own! Why? How? When? This was a recipe for disawster, and we already know mama's ability to follow recipes is not strong.

But she said this was our special project and she wanted to do this for me. That's my mama, always giving, always helping others, always going above and beyond. I think that's like when I eat more treats than necessary. And I thought it was so kind of her, and it showed me how much she loved me. But I wanted my Dog Blog!!! And it did not seem that these two goals could go together.

You're probably thinking, " Poor Toffy. " He wants to share love, laughter, and inspiration, and I want to receive it. And his mama is going to ruin this for everyone!

BUT. NEVER. UNDERESTIMATE. MY. MAMA. ON. A. MISSION!!! And never underestimate what you can do if it really matters! Here I am, less than two weeks after my first post on Facebook because I did not have a real Dog Blog yet, writing my 3rd Dog Blog from my COMPLETED, PAWMAZING, WORKING website that mama built ALL ON HER OWN! This is what I learned about having big dreams: 1. Never say never and it's never too late! You can do anything you want, no matter how impossible it might seem, because if you're willing to learn and you're willing to be patient, and you're willing to hit delete more times than you could have ever imagined but still keep trying and trying until you find your treat and create your first ever, pawmazing "Dog Blog." 2. There's a simple secret to doing what my mama did. But mama says most people don't know about this secret and if they did, most people still need help and most people don't have the hel they need. She says it's one reason why so many people never get to have the "Dog Blog" they really want. Mama says the secret is that you have to know why YOU want your "Dog Blog" and why YOU want it now. And, you have to want it SO much that there is no amount of "deleting" that would make you give up. It has to mean so much to you that the thought of not having it is more upsetting to you like the thought of me never getting any treats ever again is to me. Mama says then the impossible can always be pawssible.

3. You have to take pawsitive action with things that will get you closer to the 'treat' you really want and you must be pawsistent if you want your rewards!

It's like when mama and I play "Go Find". I wait in the kitchen all by myself while Mama hides a toy for me to "Go Find." And she is not always that quick doing it. Sometimes, I think she's forgotten she was going to hide the toy and that I'm waiting in the kitchen for her to come back because I have to get the green light before I can "Go Find." But she always does comes back, and then off I go. One mission! To find the toy that is the golden ticket to the yummy treats. So I keep looking and looking and looking. Sometimes, I feel like I'm just going in circles! But I want my treat, and I want it immediately! And so I keep looking and looking and looking until that yummy treat is in my tummy! This Dog Blog is dedicated to the most PAWSOME and inspiring mama I could ever have wished to have, and I want everyone to know how proud I am of my mama, how lucky I am she LOVES me so much to learn all these new skills and how happy I am that I have my very own, real Dog Blog!
